In the rapidly evolving telecommunications landscape, the launch of our Wholesale Digital Center (WDC) represented a significant leap towards revolutionizing how we, Telecom Italia, engage with our wholesale partners. This digital platform was envisioned to streamline operations, offer comprehensive services online, and enhance our partners' experience with improved efficiency and transparency.

Process
Our journey began with an exhaustive analysis phase, where we engaged with stakeholders across the spectrum — from internal teams to external wholesale partners — to deeply understand their needs, pain points, and aspirations for a digital-first engagement model. This collaborative approach was instrumental in designing the WDC with the user at its core.
Adopting an agile development methodology, we broke down the project into manageable sprints, allowing us to rapidly prototype, test, and refine features based on real-time feedback. A cross-disciplinary team, including digital strategists, UX/UI designers, IT security experts, and data analysts, worked in synergy to transform our vision into reality. Central to our approach was the commitment to creating a platform that was not only technically robust but also easy to navigate and aligned with the specific needs of our wholesale partners.

Outcome
The Wholesale Digital Center (WDC) emerged as a state-of-the-art digital platform, offering a one-stop solution for our wholesale partners. Key functionalities included a comprehensive dashboard for real-time monitoring of services, an automated order management system, detailed analytics and reporting tools, and a dedicated support portal.
What truly set the WDC apart was its ability to personalize the experience for each partner, adapting to their unique requirements and preferences. Powered by advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, the platform provided insights and recommendations to help partners optimize their operations and explore new opportunities.
